What Are LAMDA Exams?
LAMDA exams are structured qualifications that help learners develop communication, performance and public speaking skills through drama, literature and performance-based activities. They are designed to inspire confident communicators and creative thinkers.

What Happens in a LAMDA Exam?

For Acting exams, students typically perform scenes or monologues and answer questions about their characters and texts.
For Verse and Prose exams, students perform poetry and prose extracts and discuss their interpretation.

This means that older students can gain recognised qualifications that not only develop important life skills but may also support future educational opportunities.
