Stage Stars – Drama, Dance & Musical Theatre Classes in Princes Risborough (Ages 6–13)
Our Stage Stars Saturday programme offers exciting drama, dance and musical theatre classes for children aged 6–13 in Lacey Green near Princes Risborough.
Classes are split into two age groups—Rising Stars (ages 6–9) and Shooting Stars (ages 10–13)—ensuring every child learns in a way that is suited to their age, confidence and ability.
Children can take part in Drama, Dance and Musical Theatre, choosing one, two or all three disciplines, while building confidence, creativity and performance skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Classes take place at St John’s C of E School in Lacey Green, welcoming families from Princes Risborough, High Wycombe, Saunderton, Naphill and surrounding Buckinghamshire areas.
Rising Stars (Ages 6–9)
Saturdays 10.20am - 11.50am
Our Rising Stars classes are designed to build strong foundations in performing arts while keeping learning fun, engaging and confidence-boosting.
Children at this stage are encouraged to explore their imagination, develop performance skills and grow in confidence through structured but playful sessions.
In Rising Stars, your child will:
- Take part in drama, dance and musical theatre sessions
- Build confidence performing in front of others
- Develop creativity, expression and storytelling skills
- Learn teamwork and how to work as part of a group
- Begin performing short routines and scripted pieces
This is a fantastic stage for children who are just starting out or building confidence, giving them the space to grow at their own pace.

Shooting Stars
(Ages 10–13)
Saturdays 12noon - 1.30pm
Our Shooting Stars classes build on these foundations, offering more in-depth training and performance opportunities for older children.
Students are encouraged to develop stronger performance skills, take on more challenging material and grow in confidence both individually and as part of a group.
In Shooting Stars, students will:
- Develop more advanced drama, dance and musical theatre skills
- Work on character development and performance technique
- Build confidence performing longer and more detailed pieces
- Strengthen teamwork and stage presence
- Take part in more structured rehearsals and performances
This group is ideal for children who are ready to develop their skills further and gain more stage experience.


Performance Opportunities
A key part of our Stage Stars programme is the opportunity to work towards two exciting performances each year.
Every child is given the chance to take part, helping them build confidence, experience the excitement of performing on stage, and feel proud of what they achieve.
